HAVN ("we", "us") operates this store and sells dietary supplements to customers in the United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. The store is powered by Shopify, which processes personal information on our behalf in order to provide the store to you.

Information we collect

  • Contact details: name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number if you provide one.
  • Order information: what you viewed, added to cart, bought, subscribed to, returned or cancelled, and your order history.
  • Payment information: handled entirely inside Shopify's PCI-compliant checkout. Card numbers are never stored by HAVN and never reach our systems.
  • Account information: if you use a customer account to manage a subscription.
  • Messages you send us: the content of your emails and contact-form messages.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser, device identifiers and how you move through the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Where it comes from

Directly from you, automatically from your device when you use the site, and from the service providers that run the store for us.

How we use it

  • To take, process, ship and renew your orders and subscriptions.
  • To provide customer support and answer your messages.
  • To send order, shipping and subscription renewal notifications. These are transactional; you cannot opt out of them while you have an active order or subscription.
  • To send marketing email, only if you opted in. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.
  • To detect and prevent fraud and keep the store secure.
  • To comply with law, including bookkeeping and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

Only providers that need it to run the store: Shopify (store hosting, checkout and payments), our US fulfillment partner (packing and shipping your order), our payment processors, and our email provider. Each receives only what its job requires.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of the business.

Shopify's role

This store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes personal information about your use of the store in order to provide and improve the service, and may transfer it to countries other than the one you live in. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of it and of targeted advertising, and to opt out of marketing at any time. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other US states have these rights under their state laws.

If you visit the store with the Global Privacy Control signal enabled, we treat that as an opt-out request for that browser.

Children

This store is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.

Security and retention

No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information by email. We keep order records for as long as bookkeeping and tax law requires, and marketing contacts until you unsubscribe.

International transfers

We are based in Denmark and our fulfillment partner is in the United States, so your information may be stored and processed outside the country you live in. Where a transfer out of the EEA or UK is involved, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal information, email us first. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We may update this policy. The current version is always published here with its date.
